We left Dallas as soon as I was cut loose by the Tech manager, he let me go early since I ran Steadicam for 4 hours. Try carrying 60 lbs around all afternoon. The drive back was fine , we made good time and got back to Houston around midnight. We pulled into my friends driveway and plugged in and promptly went to bed. I had to be at Rice University on Super Bowl Sunday at 8am for a Rice/SMU womens basketball game.The sun was out and 60 degrees, those of us that came from Dallas wanted to move the game outdoors to the parking lot.  But no such luck, something about NCAA and regulation courts etc.The game went off at 2pm and we were out of there by 5pm, Rice won. By now I was too tired to really care about the Super Bowl, I did watch the first half just to hope that the evil Steelers were not winning. We drove back to my friends house and sent the dogs to the backyard, they have been in this yard many times so this "their territory" they didn't seem to care about the big either, they were just happy for the big backyard to run in. After a good night sleep and  getting up on bright sunny day it was back to the RV park and a hot tub.
