Picture perfect

Farmer Jay's garden
The weather has been great highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. It was time to put on the overalls, grab the shovel and dig some dirt for a garden. Wait a minute, I got rid of the shovel, don't have any dirt and haven't had overalls since I was a kid. What am I thinking the backyard with space for a garden went away with the house. Ah, problem solved, a window box planter and a herb garden is the order of the day. It took 30 minutes and it was done, mint, parsley, chives and rosemary. Two great things about my garden, it can be moved to take advantage of the sun and if it does get really cold again it can be moved inside for the night. I am working on a way to actually hang it below the window on the bus, this will take some ingenuity but there are many ways to skin a cat, besides they are excellent for grilling. (just kidding cat lovers) It would be funny to drive down the road with a window box attached. Well back to the other plan for the day, pool then get the fish ready for tonight's block party and cook out. There is also an arts and crafts fair at this evening so I will be heading to the storage space and retrieve some paintings.
