Saturday was one of those days where it was nice enough to hang around outside. I wanted to do nothing but go to the pool, but I had to go to work.Not real work, camera work that is always fun. We had a Rice/ East Carolina Univesity basketball game.and crew call was 1pm.That is normal for a 7pm start, we have to set all the gear up. For this game we had five cameras, Game, High tight, Slash and two handhelds. I ran high tight which follows the ball usally on two shot of the handler and defender then follow the ball when its passed or shot. Game is a wide shot that is on the air most of the time. slash is high up in the corner and follows the action both wide and tight. The hanhelds are below the baskets. the game was slow in the first half both teams were sloppy. it went down to the wire as ECU tied then went ahead with a threepointer, then Rice inbounded the ball with 2.8 seconds and tried a three but missed. Good thing is we get paid no matter who wins.
